Haley Scarnato performance on this weeks American Idol left me a little cold. She is a little too self-aware of herself. Her performance was very “Mariah Careyish”. Maybe I’m being judgemental but she isn’t even that hot. She could use a sandwich or two.

I am officially sick of Sangina’s Stupid Hair tricks. It’s obvious this kid is media savvy. He knew he didn’t have the chops to make it to the end so he instead is relying on his charisma and his stupid hair tricks.

American Idol must love the attention this is getting considering the lackluster crew this time around. Let’s face it, Sanjaya is going to sell a lot of tickets for the tour. The American Idol money machine rolls on.

Not much of a surprise here. Paulina Porizkova was the first eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. Part of the blame goes to her stiff dancing and part goes to a lack of a real fan base. Paulina Porizkova hasn’t exactly been in the public eye a whole lot.

I have a feeling Shandi Finnessey (Miss USA 2004) made it because the male vote wanted to see her a little more even if she isn’t the best dancer. Let’s face it, Shandi is easy on the eyes but don’t expect her to last more than two more rounds. Shandi’s partner creeps me out for some reason.

So far the front runners seem to be Joey Fatone & Kym Johnson and Apolo Anton Ohno & Julianne Hough. Also keep an eye on Ian Ziering & Cheryl Burke. Cheryl is a two time winner and knows how to train her man to look good.

Billy Ray Cyrus impressed a lot of people with his comeback in week 2. Clyde Drexler also shifted his feet into overdrive and seemed a lot more relaxed.

For the women I expect Laila Ali and Heather Mills to advance pretty far into the competition.

Laura Osnes survived another week is currently my choice to win it all for the Sandy’s.

I think it was Derek that attempted to sing a Queen song. I am amazed at how many people on these reality shows attempt to sing a Queen song and simply can not pull it off. It just goes to show how great of a vocalist Freddie Mercury was.
